iPad Phishing Scam

There's a phishing email scam going around and I wanted to make sure you all knew about it, so you didn't fall for it. The email comes from someone you know, someone who has emailed you in the past. It claims that you can test an iPad, review it on your blog or site, and then keep the device as a reward for your review.

I didn't click the link in the email I received this morning, but i know others who have and they said it asks for contact info and then uses that info to email everyone in your email acct the same deal, with your name as the sender!

Please, if you get an email like this, just delete it! Do Not click the link inside. And let your friends know that this is going around. Let's try and stop it before it gets too far!

Lost - The End is Near

So tonight was the final Tuesday night episode of Lost. It's crazy to think it's really ending on Sunday night. We're having a get together to celebrate the series and watch the end together. Should be a good time. I'm trying to get some theme foods and music together for the event. Music has to include some Drive Shaft...I have to see if I can find it online anywhere. [Edit: Found it.] I might try to make some sort of Dharma Beer can koozies. I'd like to somehow make a smoke monster, but I'm running out of time to make the magic happen.

Thank You Mom! and P&G Contest!

I have the greatest Mom. She's funny, kind, smart as heck, and seriously strong. I love that as I've grown, my mother has remained my mom and become one of my closest friends. I hope she knows what she means to me. I try to remember to tell her as often as I can, but I know I could tell her the I love her more. So here's another chance for me.

Rainy Night

I'm not sure if this rain is going to last into the daylight hours of Tuesday, but tonight, I'm lying here listening to the pitter patter of drops on the roof. Sleeping in the attic does lend itself to easy raindrop listening :)

I love lying in bed, listening to the sound of a steady rain on the roof. It's just as relaxing as listening to Iron & Wine or Joshua Radin before bed. It's a wonderful sound to fall asleep to.

Today is Giveaway Day!

I was reading a blog update on Sand & Starfish today and I learned that today is Giveaway Day! I had no idea it even existed, but I'm so glad I was reading today!
