Cravings

Just a little while ago, I got an unusual craving. Usually, it's candy...usually Take 5's or jellybeans. Sometimes it's ice cream or Frito's. But today it was music. I got a sudden craving to listen to Taking The Long Way by the Dixie Chicks. I had really forgotten how good it is. I've always enjoyed country music, but I never really classified myself as a "country music fan." I like a lot of pop and indie pop/rock and always put my taste in that category. Sometimes though, certain music is just so good, it doesn't even matter what genre it is. I felt the same way when I first heard the band Sugarland too. Really good stuff. Anybody else have any musical cravings lately?

I sometimes crave the classic 80's big hair band rock. They always take me back to a certain memory! It's fun. I also crave country sometimes because it takes me back to goin' country dancin' when I was in High School. Love those memories!

Have a great day!! Good luck with your new business! I will follow so I can keep up with what you are doing! :-)

I know I am a bit late in commenting on this post, but I just had to say that "Taking the Long Way" by the Dixie Chicks is one of my favorite songs! No kidding! Isn't it great?

As far as musical cravings go? I know it's going to be a good day when I start jamming to my oldies but goodies, 80s wave, and/or ELVIS! Good stuff!

- I stumbled on you from the SITS website, and I am so glad I found your blog!

Love,
