Yesterday I watched this week's Castle (Yes, on the DVR) and noticed that the kid from Kate & Ally was on tv again! Remember Chip? I think he was Ally's son. Anyways he played a possible suspect in Castle this week. Earlier this season, he played a killer on The Mentalist. So when I saw him in Castle yesterday, I had to laugh. Out loud. I then had to pause the tv to explain why I laughed to my family...lol. But remembered going crazy trying to place him when he was on The Mentalist.
I have this thing with TV faces. Very often, I find myself watching a tv show or movie and I get this feeling that I know an actor from something. Does this happen to any of you? And then it drives me crazy until I'm able to look it up on the internet and find what I know them from.
Like on Castle...there was a woman playing a ghostwriter and she looked soooo familiar. Her lips, specifically...lol...they're just shaped a little weird. Anyway, she turned out to be the senator's wife who was kidnapped on this show a few years ago called Vanished. IMDB.com answered for me! I love IMDB. It's super helpful.
It's weird that the show Vanished popped up again too because a few weeks ago I saw the film Adventureland. Really good move, by the way. But there's a girl in the film who works at the park, and I knew I knew her from somewhere! It drove me nuts through the whole movie and as soon as I got home, I checked IMDB and she played the senator's daughter in the same show! Weird.
Am I the only one this happens to? Do any of you love IMDB like I do?

Making handcrafted items is a dying art, but they are so fun to make and get! So, here's a little game to encourage the handcrafting to live and thrive.
The first 5 people to leave a comment on this post, will receive, at some point during the year, a super-duper handmade gift from me! What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise. The catch is that you must participate as well :) So before you leave your comment here, write up (or copy and paste) a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Then, come back, let me know you are going to play, and anticipate the arrival of your super-duper handmade gift! Remember that only the FIRST FIVE comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick!
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make. But, I will try my best to make sure that you do :)
2. It will be done this year (hopefully sooner than later)
3. You will have no clue what or when it will be.
Please make sure to leave your e-mail address too so I can get a hold of you. Have fun!

1. My So-Called Life -- I often wondered what would have happened with Brian Krakow once Angela read that letter. Would she really have stayed with Jordan Catalano? Who knows? I do enjoy seeing the cast show up randomly in things these days though. Yes, that was Angela's dad who threatened to take Aaron from Kate on LOST.
2. American Dreams -- I really enjoyed this one. I wasn't alive in the 60's but it seemed like such a poignant portrayal of those times. Definitely canceled too soon.
3. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip -- Another great Sorkin show. I love Bradley Whitford, so it was nice to see him again after the West Wing. I loved the drama of the show and really enjoyed the characters. And their Christmas episode rivaled some of the best holiday tv episodes of all time.
4. John from Cincinnati -- Now I know that this got canceled because people just didn't get it, but maybe if they'd given it a chance, we might have been able to figure it out!
5. Ed -- I'm glad we got some closure with this one, so atleast we have that. I'd feel better if they'd just release it on DVD! Just give them the music rights all ready!
6. Life on Mars -- The wound with this one is still fresh. I would have really liked to see this whole storyline fleshed out more. Such a unique concept with great characters. Very well-written show.
7. Pushing Daisies -- How good was this show?! Word on the street is that the 3 remaining episodes will be shown in May. I also heard rumors of a possible movie. I think that would be a great idea.
8. Joan of Arcadia -- I know this one got kind of out there in the 2nd season, so I'm pretty sure that's what turned people off. It was so good in the first season though, I'd like to believe this one had great potential if it had been given the chance.
9. Boston Public -- This was a great show. Nicky Katt, Chi McBride, Fyvush Finkel, Michael Rappaport....so good! Maybe not such a realistic depiction of public school, but a great show that received the dreaded Friday night timeslot and died too soon.
10. Undeclared -- A fun Judd Apatow half hour comedy from 2001. I know many members of this cast have gone on to great careers, but I loved the interactions in this one. Jason Segel playing the obsessive boyfriend, then ex-boyfriend copy shop worker. Jay Baruchel, Seth Rogan, Louden Wainwright III...great cast.
Ok so I also have some honorable mentions that I found on google. Yes, I had to see what other shows I was missing!
Relativity, Murder One, Daria, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, The Nine, Journeyman, Freaks & Geeks (I will admit I didn't catch this one til my boyfriend loaned me the boxset to watch) and Millenium.
And I almost forgot Life With Bonnie! Bonnie Hunt's sitcom...that was a very funny show!
Let me know if I missed any good ones!

So I've been a member of BzzAgent for a few years now. BzzAgent is a great marketing program specializing in Word-Of-Mouth publicity for products and services. Members join product or service campaigns, receive a bzzkit with samples, coupons, etc. and they go out and "Bzz" to their friends, family and co-workers! It's a great program. When you report on your "Bzz", you earn points to your mypoints.com account to redeem for great rewards!
My newest BzzCampaign is for Schwarzkopf got2b Smooth Operator smoothing lustre lotion. According to the bottle the product "shapes, smooths, controls fly-aways and imparts an amazing weightless lustre and softness". It also contains a UV Protectant and protects against damage from heat styling. With summer's humidity coming, we could all use something to combat frizz. The full size bottle (6.8oz) retails for $5.99.
I used this product yesterday and it did make my ponytail silky soft. I have to admit though, I didn't fully style my hair yesterday. I like to use my flat iron when I wear my hair down and yesterday was definitely a "throw it up in a ponytail" kind of day. So I haven't used this along with all of my other styling products yet. I also want to add that this product smells great too! Not overly perfumed at all.
For this campaign, BzzAgent sent me a full size 6.8oz bottle for me and 3oz sample bottles to share with friends and family. Isn't the bottle cute? I love the dangling charms. So this is where you come in! I'm going to be offering one of these 3oz bottles to one winner! You'll be receiving the exact product featured in the above photo. The only catch is the winner must be willing to test the product and email me letting me know what you think so I can report on the "Bzz"!
To enter this giveaway, leave me a comment letting me know why you need this product or why you'd like to try it. Please make sure to leave a valid email or have it visible in your profile, so I can reach you if you win!
For bonus entries, you can:
- Follow my blog on Blogger
- Subscribe via email
- Follow me on twitter (@crazeypoet) and tweet about this giveaway. (Make sure you post the link in your comment)
- Add my button to your blog
- Blog about my giveaway (leave a link in your comment)
Make sure you leave a comment for each thing you do! Giveaway will end April 17 at 12pm est.
Ok so I watched LOST last night, so we can chat about it now! How bout that smoke monster? A little cheesy if you ask me, but what do I know, right? I just think the visions of Ben's past swirling in the smoke monster looked kinda like cut n' paste. I think they could have made it a little creepier. Remember what the Smoke Monster did to Mr. Eko? I know the Smoke Monster wasn't supposed to kill Ben, but it could have scared him and us a bit more.
This week's SparkLife take gives you a list of rules for the Others. Check it out. I love numbers 2, 5, and 15. Pretty funny stuff.
