Today is Giveaway Day!

I was reading a blog update on Sand & Starfish today and I learned that today is Giveaway Day! I had no idea it even existed, but I'm so glad I was reading today!

Giveaway Day is hosted by Sew, Mama, Sew! Shop owners from all over the world come together on this one day to hold giveaways of their own handmade crafts and/or craft supplies on their blogs. I love handmade goods! I love to see creativity in tangible form.

I've always been crafty. I love making jewelry, cards, etc. It started with my mother making clothes for herself, crafts for Christmas gifts, stuffed dolls and toys for me. I always loved watching her create these goods and I'm sure that's why I love creating today. And I'm a huge supporter of creative people and their crafts. So I love the idea of Sew, Mama, Sew's Giveaway Day! The festivities end May 20, so don't miss out!
